If somebody classifies the existence of a living species into two parts ...
(1) Thinking part of the living species ...
AND
(2) The Rest ...
Science describes/defines birth / death of a living species by the birth / death of Brain in that species ??
If somebody has to come out with some universal properties of living species what are those ???
Every material in this universe have their own properties ... and they act / enact in accordance to the Universal Laws of Nature ... so should the living species have the properties which could enact according to the Universal Laws of the Nature ...
Some examples of the things could be :-
(1) Air --- has its own properties, probably and partially governed by Universal laws of Gases
(2) All elements in the Periodic Table have their own properties ...
(3) Scriptures say anything and everything in this world is made up of probably 5 elements , ... (Pancha Bhootas ... ) ... namely :-
(a) Bhoomi (This worldly planet-bodies Ex :- Earth, which we are leaving
(b) Vaayu --- The things in gaseous form ... like air
(c) Jala --- Things in liquid form Ex - Water
(d) Agni --- The spirit within or in other terms called as the heat, the energy.
(e) Aakaasha --- The SPACE with nothing or everything !!! :)
Things, in general, take different forms and exist according to some of the Universal laws like :-
(1) E = mc2
--> Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed, but however can be transformed from one-form to another.
(2) Two elements cannot exist / occupy the same space at the same time.
(3) Any two bodies with some mass associated with them have a force associated between them.
In the similar fashion,
What should be the intent / purpose / property of the living species ??? :P
Thus, this thing (living thing) is also formed out of a definite combination of pancha bhootas and has certain properties ...
We, any living species, is taken birth as a result of change in form of some Energy to this living species. Hence we have that energy within, as long as we exist ...
We play around with the energy every moment of our life ...
The property of living organism could be -
--- To exploit this energy along with the nature and the forces of nature and generate and form more energy ... :) ... within and outside ... and handle the same in a fashion, which facilitates the prosperity of the similar spiecies (it is our responsibility to inturn make sure, species inturn facilitate the prosperity of the living species and so ... on recursively .... )
--- Else would be killing self along with others ... and the species together ... and would go against the Universal laws or our properties probably causing to all unwanted things :)
Lastly , Thinking and Rest ...
Though people say think before you ink, thinking is many times useless .... we should learn to balance between the two Thinking and the Rest .... :)
