TRIP to Hubli, Bagalkot, Badami and koodala-sangama.

Let me first provide some of the important information which might help other people if they wish to plan for a trip to Badami and koodala-sangama

-- How to reach Badami ?
        - Badami is around 40 km from Bagalkot, district in North-West of Karnataka. It roughly takes around 40 minutes as the road is not that good from Bagalkot to Badami.
Useful reference - know about Bagalkot

-- About Badami ...
        - According to history, it seems that the rock @ Badami was as soft as candle, several years back, during which the famous rock-cave temples have been carved. One needs to take a ticket worth Rs5/- as an entry fee.
Useful reference - know about badami
        - There is a Banashankari temple just 4 kms further to the Badami-cave-temples.

-- Experience in the Hotel @ Hubli
You know something ... actually we caught a train, Mas Vasco Express, from Bangalore. Mas Vasco Express left K.R.Puram at around 8PM and imagine at what time it reached yashwantpur ... Oh ... its beyond all the imagination. It took just 2hrs 30 minutes to travel from KR Puram to yashwantpur and the faces of my colleagues, who boarded the train from KR Puram was as-though they had traveled in train for several days without sleep, food ... !!!
Finally, it was around 9 AM when we reached Hubli from Bangalore and rested in a lodge. And, here, we happened to play the game SNOOKER ... , me for the first time though. It was interesting and fun, all of us except one were playing for the first time and the snooker-stick (i do not know the technical name for it), was dancing in all directions, in all possible fashion in our hands ... We, trying to target the ball did all circus except for hitting the desired target. We just not played snooker, but played hockey as well :) , where we scooped the snooker ball, instead of making it up to the target ...

And it was time to attend our colleague's marriage at Hubli ...

We then traveled to Bagalkot where in we attended our other collegue's marriage along with which we had a trip to Koodalasangama and Badami.

--- Our Experience @ Koodalasangama

Koodalasangama is known for its identity where Sri Jagathguru Basaveshwara got his enlightenment and hold his last breath.

It is a nice place which is surrounded by see on 3 sides and with land on the other side. There is a booting facility which costs Rs5 to Rs10 (depends ... ) per head. And another place to see here is the exact place where Jagathguru Basaveshwara went for samadhi sthiti, which is now severl feets below the see level. There is a fine construction made to see this place, though it is few feets below see level.

The next visit was Badami
-- Our experience @ Badami ...
It was a great experience ... We had a train back to Bangalore, suppose to leave Bagalkot at 6:20 PM. It was already around 4 PM when we finished attending our colleague's marriage. We were in the dialamma whether to go to Badami, 2 hrs 15 minutes left for the train ... and it takes 45 minites one way to Badami. However, we decided to visit the place. We rented a temp-traveler (ACE) for Rs 1000 to-and-fro. We (10 people)  traveled to Badami at around 4:30 PM.
The next thing is about the monkeys ... each one waiting to grab what ever is there in the hand ... and there was one incident where in one among the team of 10 was very enthusiastic, curious and daring to make a friendship with their favorite ancestor over there ... and tried to make a feature-touch on the back of one of the monkey where the monkey pounced upon .... The "enthusiastic, curious and daring" team member immediately started shouting in panic ... finally nothing much happened and "OUR ANCESTOR" was generous enough to excuse ... quenching the existing enthusiasm and curiosity of our team-mate.
We finally finished watching all the excellent carvings along with Humpty number of photographs. We decided to forgo the visit to Banashankari-Temple as it was already 5:30 PM. And then, it was the task of the driver to take us back, within next 45 minutes, to Bagalkot from where we took the train to Bangalore. But the fact was that the train actually got delayed by 2 hrs and we boarded into the train only at 8:30 PM instead of 6:30 PM ... !
Here are some of the general scenic photos ... that we captured

And i have left the most important and the exciting part of our trip ... the fun, entertainment we had, as a group all along the way, while traveling in train/temo-trax ...

Please wait till the next blog for the fun, entertainment we had .. and other views on the same ...

Till then good bye ...

Is rationalism the solution to all problem.Do all people work based on rationality...

--- Some of the relevant questions that pop up in mind are -
1. Can Life be treated as a Game ??
--- If so, then how to define the winner of the game ??
--- What are the rules of the Game ??
--- Objective of the Game, Strategies of the Game ??

Interesting ... !!! and as we all know, if Life is to be modeled as a Game and defined properly, then that would be the toughest of all today's science and technology.

There are opinions that life is not all about rationality. Everything in life cannot be lead by logic, rationality and analysis. There is more to it like feelings, humor, emotions etc. Let me give more insighted thought for the same.

Many times than not, the strategies that one needs to hold for leading the life, the way he/she desires are out of scope of one's mind where in the mind is stuck in the midst of some their-own-living paradigms, beliefs, ... etc.

--- As one of the famous quote, by Vivekananda, says "education is the manifestation of what we already know".

 Finally the blog concludes with:
1. Believe in self, follow carefully the self-conscious. Actually the self-conscious knows everything ..., and we just need to follow and act accordingly. When the self-conscious says no, better you also say no ... and go ahead whenever it says yes ...
2. The problem arises only when we try to go against our conscious which could be due to several external reasons ...

Why should I blog ... continued

Again ... trying to reason out my blogging, this time in a different way.

So, continuing with the reasons i posted in my previous blog ...
Not all the time, it is possible to spend time expressing about yourself or talk with your friends ... or probably not all would be good in talking seemlessly, without boring their friends !!!, and get to know more about each other. So, i think, this blog also paves the way for my friends to understand more about me .... and my thoughts ....

Just wait .... here is an exciting, not so trivial reason awaiting.
I happened to discuss the reason behind blogging with one of my friend which was interesting and something different .... My friend says as follows :
There are advantages of blogging, of course, but nevertheless there are some points to be noted ...

-- Though blogging helps us to clearly express our ideas, review them in the future and act upon it, blogging is a static expression of our thoughts where we just write as a blog and it is there on paper for ever without continuous updates. My friend exposed me to the book called "Phantoms of Human Brain" by S Ramanujam.
Accordingly, the opinions are that one could write their thoughts into "the so called" brain cells ... which are not static and get updated spontaneously all along the life time.
This, above claim, was something interesting ... according to which, the writings into our brain cells are more effective than writing as a blog. But yes, i still do not completely understand and feel it quite criptic and the concept is not as straight forward as blogging.
Writing into the brain cells, means not blogging but instead preserving the same in our brain cells and put constant effort to produce results according to our thoughts which could yields better results than blogging, if one is of the opinion that we could put down our thoughts here and review the same in our future days ...

Ofcourse, there are exceptions where in, if one wants to become a good writer, he has to write and he cannot become so without writing ... !!!!

Even, the psychology says, that when we say out of our aims, interests and goals loudly to everyone, the chance that we actually bring it into action is less when compared to that of trying to achieve the same without  telling it aloud to everyone.

OK ... By telling as above, YOU, the reader of this blog might have felt that I am self-contradicting myself by writing the blog here ... I will come to that point soon ...

So, finally to conclude with, i wish to say that ... it is better we ( I ) blog ... just because i want to blog ... and thats it ... better not keep any expectations or think about "Why i should blog .... !!!! :) "

Thats it .. More over, mind you, anything that comes as a surprise makes the person feel happy. So, welcome to all the benefits of blogging ... without expectation ...

Let me continue blogging ... rather than spending more time on reasoning the same ...

Hi Friends,
Please provide any sort of feed back you feel you could give for my blogs. And also, i am not trying to generalize anything in my blogs, but everything is all about what I have felt, my views and understandings.

I would love to recieve your comments, be it of any kind ...

Life ...

***Is God Partial or is he Impartial ??

Ok, Let me take some time talking about the above claim ...

Some times, when I sit back and start thinking and just thinking, some strange thoughts, crazy, start coming to my mind.

How are all people different.... Does a person by birth have some weak-points and strong points? Do they depend on their zodiac?

Ok, if all people are born without any weak and strong points, then how do they get developed as one grows ...

I personally believe that though all persons are not born with any weak or strong points and they get developed as one grows, every one agrees that each person is different, born with different genes ... Also, the external parameters like, the environment he/she comes up in their life have a great role in defining a person's traits, the so called weak/strong points. But more important is that they are just persons special traits, rather than weak/strong points.

An individual makes his/her traits into either his/her weak/strong points. And I believe any trait can be seen as both a weak/strong point. So this conversion of his/her traits into either a weak or a strong point strongly depends on himself/herself, and other external parameters like the surrounding environment etc.

So, what i wish to stress is that, irrespective of our zodiac signs, though i donot deny completely that zodiac signs do not have any impact; zodiac sign of a person only tells something about his/her special traits ... and it is left to the individual to convert it either into a strong or a weak point.

I validate the truthfullness of my above blog under certain assumptions -
1) Every Individual puts maximum effort to achieve his/her objectives.
2) Success is just to lead every moment of life with maximum joy, happiness, enthu and capability/confidence/ready to achieve/perform/do any practically viable things in life ...
3)Some more, which are left unknown ... some of u could help me filling these :)

3. Potential is important, but the act of performance through the existing potential is even more important. Potential without performance is worse than "Not having the potential"
4. Nobel-Attitude/Noble-Ideology is important; but the implementation of the same in life is even more important. "No implementation with a great attitude" is worse than just having a "Nobel-Attitude/Nobel-Ideology"

Why should I blog ...

... Many times I get a question in my mind, Why should I blog and I feel this is the best possible answer to myself.

--- Many thoughts keep flowing in everybodies mind, and so as me.
More over, same thoughts donot repeat and they donot come when we want them to ... So one way to get back to our thoughts, recollect and analyse the same is through blogging.

Also, this is one asset which I can preserve for my life-time to know how I was a few years back and how i am now. So, in brief this is one way, where I could express myself effectively and document my thoughts for the rest of my lifetime for myself and aswell as for others who might seem my ideas interesting and useful.

I hope and wish my epiphanies would be liked by many people and useful... I would try to bring in all kinds of my thoughts, be it technical, philosophical, spiritual and what not ... in my blog.
